Family Birthday Fun

All my children were born in summer...

This year, for the first time, our two-year-old granddaughter, became aware of  birthdays - and even learned the "happy birthday" song!

But what gifts to buy for adult children?

For years, I've been giving them gift cards to their favorite stores...

But this year, I tried something different. This year, I offered gifts of "shopping sprees with Mom" at outlet shopping centres... I told them an amount to aim for... and let them go!

They loved it! And I enjoyed following them around, paying for what they bought.

It was a fun family activity for us all!
