A Family Birthday
Today is my youngest son's birthday... a day before my mother's birthday.
This family photo was taken when he was about 3.

This second photo was taken last year when he and his family came to Ottawa for his birthday. One of his first stops was to my mother's nursing home to introduce her to his baby girl. She was thrilled!
Looking back on it now - 9 months after my mother passed away - this meeting was a memorable gift to them both.
