Christmas Market at Carp

Farmers market season is over...

But one market we regularly attend - the Carp Farmers Market - has a special Christmas market in early December.

This year there was no snow... but evening came early.

Most of the vendors were indoors - but a few braved the cold.

I came to buy a dozen Eccles Cakes - enough to last me till the special spring Easter market!

The market was very busy! I considered buying apple cider.

The maple syrup vendor was busy!

Winter is the perfect season for adding maple syrup to breakfast - whether poured over pan cakes or a steaming bowl of oatmeal!
