A while back, I posted a blog on paper clothing - an futuristic idea I remember from my childhood. The concept never caught on - except in the medical field, where disposable gowns are common. (Though these paper gowns would never be mistaken for regular clothing.)
So I was recently amazed to discover BT Couture - collections of elegant clothing made of... toilet paper...

No excuse for anyone to go out and buy an elegant gown again! Simply gather some rolls... (Though in all fairness, I think they worked with wide sheets of unperforated BT!)
(I wonder how "Cashmere®" clothing stands up in regular wear?!)
