
I still have a few flowers, like the echinacea...

... and the cheery brown-eyed Susans, which some neighbors consider weeds...

I love their brightness! (I think they're a kind of daisy.)

I was surprised to see the knautia in bloom again!

The sedum that brightens the flower beds with its red foliage - long after all the other flowers are gone - is already turning pink (a sure sign of fall!)

I'm not ready to see the blooming season end! Maybe I need to make a trip to the nursery - to find more late summer flowers to add to the yard!
