At Merrickville's Canal Fest, I discovered some interesting ones.
One of my favorites was this useful way to recycle plastic bags...
... by weaving them into attractive shopping bags! (My mother would have loved this - back when she taught students to weave...)
Another favorite was this walking stick display...
They were made by young carvers who were also selling key-chains and other items whittled out of wood...
Now this is something I have to buy!
