Dining Out ... in Merrickville

We haven't eaten out a lot this summer, I commented when Terry and I were out driving one day.

I'd really enjoy a nice meal out - if we can find a place to eat outdoors.

Our search led us to a courtyard garden restaurant in Merrickville, an hour's drive from Ottawa.

We know the place well...

Fortunately it wasn't too busy. The tables were spaced apart...

So we ordered dinner...

Schnitzel - my favorite!

When we had finished, we saw that a nearby ice cream shop - that serves homemade ice cream - was open, too!

Such a treat!
