Virtual Reality

One of my sons recently came home for a brief visit...

During that time, he and his brother got together one evening to play virtual reality video games...

What was it like to be home? I later asked him.

Well, in some ways, I didn't feel I was home, he replied. I was caught up in the game so much that I lost sense of time or place. 

In fact, after taking off the helmet, I had to sit on the sofa for a few minutes and remind myself where I was.
