More Pottery ... Drying at Home

My pottery session ended before all my clay pieces were all fired...Currently the studio is closed - until the city's recreation activities resume.

Instead of leaving them at the studio, I brought  home several pieces that needed to dry before they could be bisque fired...  Among them is this little owl (next to a completed one).

I've drilled three little holes in the bottom - and set it on a trivet - to speed up the drying process. Pottery risks cracking if it dries unevenly.

Also drying nearby are a flower-shaped bowl and a small head...

I hope that it won't be long before life returns to normal - and the city's pottery studio will be open again...
