Barbies... Already...!

There were no Barbie dolls in my world of toys.

I played with paper dolls in much the same way as children now play with Barbies - changing their outfits and acting out stories.

I don't see them often these days - though I came across these cut-out pages in a magazine and saved them.

On my granddaughter's last visit recently, I dug out some Barbie dolls that had belonged to my daughter...

 (So many tiny pieces!)

She spent hours acting out stories with them!

On her last visit, she played with a bin of soft toys...

How quickly they grow up!
