A Style of Her Own

As a grandparent, I notice changes in my grandchildren's development in a way I never did as a parent... I was simply too busy!

On my granddaughter's last visit, I noticed that, even at age three, she is developing a style of her own...

As we played "tea party" in the basement, she put a table cloth on the table...

Whose tablecloth is that? I asked... I didn't remember seeing it around...

I found it in the toy box, she replied.

Later I noticed she had added a place-mat to the table next to my favorite chair...

I think I'll keep it there for a while - to remember her visit...

Not quite four - she is already developing a style of her own!
