Weather Update: Heat Wave

We are currently in a heat wave... It started a week ago.

This was the temperature at 6:11 am yesterday.

(Fortunately, we have AC.)

Both Terry and I have been spending a lot of time indoors. In some ways,Terry doesn't mind: he has world cup soccer to watch.

I read ... and knit!

(Come to think of it, that's what I do all winter!)

The plants (seen here through the window) don't seem to mind either! The vines are climbing over the hedge, and the tiger lilies are in bloom.

(If only there were a way to store this heat to keep houses warm in winter...)
