Early Summer Flowers

Some early summer perennials in our garden have bloomed - and are almost gone! It happens so quickly!

The peonies didn't have much of a chance in our yard this year. Once they bloom, they don't do well in rain. Unfortunately, it rained, just as they were starting to bloom. Very few reached their potential of loveliness.

These blue flowers don't last long, either. The gout weed has almost covered them in this picture...

I should have done more ruthless gout weed weeding.

The clematis are just beginning to bloom. I hope to have them around for a few more weeks.

The day lilies, too.

Every time I wander around outside, I see new flowers in bloom.

Welcome back!
