Summer in the City

A few days ago, Terry and I headed downtown.

The weather was lovely!

I noticed some local street art in "lower town" Ottawa, where we had parked.

(These days, as we travel around in cars, we tend to forget where the hills are!)

A little closer to the river, "lower town" must have derived its name because it is "lower" than both Parliament Hill and  "Sandy Hill," another old neighborhood, a few blocks away...

We then walked to the By-ward Market, also in "lower town" ... always a fun place to visit.

Summer - the time to enjoy the city ... before winter comes again!
