Feels Like Spring!

Yesterday felt like the first day of spring here in Ottawa...

 At 7 am, when I stepped outside, the sun was shining. The temperature was only 2 degrees Celsius (about 34 degrees Fahrenheit), but I sat on the porch - wearing my winter coat - and drank my first cup of coffee there. It was a little windy...

But it was a stark contrast to the day before, when we'd had freezing rain all night long and I wondered if I should leave the house.

I eventually did, in the afternoon.

There is still so much snow around! I wonder how long it will take for it all to disappear!
