What I Tend to Forget About Winter

The sun is shining! Let's go somewhere, I suggested one day last week ...

So we headed out to to have brunch at the Miller's Oven, a little tea house run by volunteer seniors in Manotick.

Afterwards we can go for a walk...

After eating - with all the best intention in the world - we walked only as far as... our car!

Outside the day was sunny and bright. But the wind was bone-chillingly cold.
