When Things Go Wrong

Nobody wants problems, but things happen. Here's a comforting reminder I read recently:

"God is different - He is not made the way man has made Him... He puts on His biggest banquet for us, not when things are running like clockwork but when things go wrong. [We] take it for granted that if disaster strikes, God must be out of the picture, but faith works best in a crisis. God originated and perfected the element of surprise... God can best be seen when the bottom seems to be falling out of life.

"Heaven comes in the same breath as death... Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies..."
