Coffee "Drive-Through"

When the cartoon family, the Simpsons, visit Canada, they see a sign at the border that says: Welcome to Canada. Next stop: Tim Horton's - and every other stop for the next 3,000 miles.

It's true that Canadians do love their "Timmies"! One of my sons in particular can't drive more than an hour without a cup of coffee - so we make frequent stops when he is traveling with us.

Recently he and Terry were heading to Montreal for a football game - and, of course, they stopped at a Tim Hortons en route. But they were surprised when they got to the door...

Fortunately there was a second door for them to enter...

Apparently someone had driven INTO the building the previous day! (Fortunately, they hadn't made it THROUGH!)

The damage was not serious enough to shut them down. They were still open and serving coffee - though a few tables were blocked off!
