Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life,
to mind your own business,
and to work with your hands...
So that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders
[those who do not share your religious faith]
and so that you will not be dependent on anyone.
Advice from Paul in a letter he wrote to Thessalonian Christians in the year 52 AD. Still good advice 1,950 years later!
