Finally Trying "Croquettes"

Years ago, when Terry and I visited Amsterdam, I planned to try the uniquely Dutch food called "croquettes," recommended by our Europe on $10 a Day Travel Guide. (The book that was originally ...$5 a Day!)

It never happened... Don't know why. But ever since then, I've wanted to try them!

Recently, I was in our nearby Dutch grocery store, and I noticed a package of frozen croquettes, so I bought it...

So I finally tasted croquettes - with a few cherry tomatoes on the side.

These were beef... I'd like to try chicken sometime, too.

There are recipes online, but they seem to be a lot of work to make!
