Quilting Progress

I have been working on the quilt I started at the Cheryl Arkison workshop in Toronto a few weeks back...

It now lies in three large pieces in our guest room. My next decision will be whether to quilt it in the three smaller pieces on my lap - or by machine... Or whether to sew the quilt top together first, then quilt it by hand on my quilting frame...

I wanted to create a theme as I assembled the pieces: I came up with the idea of a shopping maze. The beige pathway leads up and down the rows of the quilt, much like the hallways in a shopping mall!
