Downtown Port Hope... and Crazy Cookies

One of the towns we visited on a recent trip to Toronto was Port Hope, the home of the late Farley Mowat.

We walked over to a riverside park...

Nearby we discovered a cute cafe. I had to try their ice cream!

The owner invented a delicious cookie which he has patented and named a Crazy Cookie...

After tasting one, an ABC producer bought 1000 to take back to the US!

Another reason to come back!
