Mosaic Knitting and Crochet

I've been plodding along on my latest crochet project - an afghan in "mosaic overlay" crochet. My modest goal is two rows a day.

Now, on Pinterest, I've noticed a shawl in "mosaic knitting." 

Not sure what that is. I guess I'll have to read the article! But I think I'll wait till I'm further along with my current project.

I have way too many unfinished projects waiting to be done.
