Maple Syrup Soda?!

A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of a small van with French writing on it...

What does that mean? I wondered. I read it to mean: This vehicle rolls on maple syrup... (Surely they don't use a new kind of maple syrup fuel!)

My neighbor Mary translated it to mean: Maple syrup on board.

Intrigued, I did a google search of the company... Did they sell maple syrup?

I discovered that Bec  was a Quebec company that produced an organic cola sweetened with maple syrup...

That sounds interesting! I'll give it a try next time I come across it in a store.
