Raking Season!

We used to have lots of trees with leaves... which produced tons of leaves to rake every fall.

Over the years we lost many to ice storms and disease.

We have fewer leaves to rake, but we're not totally "free"...

Mounds of pine needles cover the ground!

They blow everywhere - into the eaves troughs, into every crack and cranny! (If we don't rake them up quickly, their acidity leaches into the soil and soon nothing will grow on the ground!)
