(How could that possibly happen??)
The other day, for example, I was reading some emails - including one from Pinterest, suggesting certain things that I might be interested in.
And they were right! I was drawn to the red vest / shawl in the middle right of the top photo.
I tapped on the image to find out if there was a pattern available for it... and was transported to a similar knit vest... which did have a pattern for sale...
Which is why, after thinking about it for a day, I purchased the pattern online, downloaded it to my phone, and immediately printed the pattern on my basement printer.
As I sat nearby, watching the printer spew out the pattern pages - in colour - I thought: I don't believe this is happening! How is this possible?!
In a matter of minutes, I went from
- a picture in an email to
- an online purchase from a pattern designer in Colorado to
- a pattern downloaded to my phone to
- a printed copy (in colour) - in my hand.
What would my mother or my grandmother have thought had they been here to witness what had just happened?!
And - to tell the truth - I'm dumbfounded and amazed as well!
