A few days ago, we had a memorable day. "Memorable" in that it was unusual... but everything worked out in the end.
It started early in the morning. Terry and I were expecting our son to drive up any minute with his two kids, on his way to work.
It was a PD day and the kids were planning to spend the day with us. But instead, we got a phone call: they'd had a flat tire while they were driving...
BUT FORTUNATELY, the flat tire occurred just as they were turning into our neighborhood, not on Highway 7 or the 417!
Terry was happy to help deal with it...
We both walked over to meet them... (That's how close it was - easy walking distance.) Then the kids and I walked home.
Then later in the day, a lost tooth! It was all very exciting! The "tooth fairy" would come that night!
Later, Terry and I talked about how much worse it could have been - if the flat tire had occurred on the highway or on a busy city street - extra busy because it was rush hour...
But it didn't! We were so thankful! All in all, it was a wonderful day!
