While awaiting our flight back to Ottawa, I walked from one end of the Edmonton airport terminal to the other... and saw things I've never noticed in an airport before.
The bookstore was no surprise...
But I was surprised to see library books - to borrow (or keep?)...
What a great idea!
There were two play areas, one at each end of the terminal.
There was also a sensory room for autistic kids...
I wanted to check it out - but I didn't want to intrude...
(One of my sons said it would be a darker room - no bright lighting... with no music or sounds playing in the background.)
There were also several self-serve kiosks where one could buy University of Alberta souvenirs.
I've never noticed any of these things in an airport before.
