I'm always happy to see houseplants in bloom - especially in winter.
This African Violet has been blooming near this north-facing window for quite a few weeks now.
Nearby, an orchid stem is developing buds - a sign that flowers may burst forth before long.
In another north-facing window, these three Peace Lilies - all from the same parent plant - are all in bloom. Not sure why one flower (top left in the photo above) has a greenish hue.
A second lily is growing inside the lower pot - the little white "arrow" popping out in the center-right of the leaves...
New growth and flowers, to me, are a sign that the sunlight and water are just right. It's always a delicate balancing act! Plants are so specific in their needs.
