A few nights ago, we noticed the full moon. We saw as we got out of the car at our son's house in the country right after sundown. It was rising in the north east, over a farmer's field.
When we left, four hours later, it was higher in the sky.
Is it especially close to earth at this time of year? Or does it seem brighter on a cold, cloudless night?
