I enjoy my flower beds all around the yard - except when it comes to weeding them!
I don't mind so much in spring when the weather is cooler, but now that it's hot and humid, weeding is a chore I avoid.
Green and white
gout weed leaves are my number one gardening enemy, once dandelion season is over. Gout weed - also known as Bishop's weed and Ground Elder - overwhelms and hides the plants around it.
So it was particularly welcome to have an offer of weeding help last weekend, especially
eager, enthusiastic help!
Watching youthful energy at work - and seeing the difference it makes - may get me back outdoors...(once the current heat wave ends!)
